A man goes to his Rabbi in a panic, saying “Rabbi you’ll never guess what! My son has run away to become a Christian!”. The Rabbi responds, “Well you’ll never guess what! They do, telling God of their plight, and he replies: “You’ll never guess what!” In our very first English episode, superstar and newly-minted Jewish comedy hall of famer Modi Rosenfeld comes to Comedians on Campus to talk to us about his craft. We discuss the social and cultural aspects of humor and laughter. Modi explains the importance of delivery, why shared background is important for humor, how comedy can bring us together, and why the chairs in a comedy show shouldn't be too comfortable.
